Weston is the Creator of BeauCharles Wine & Food Consulting based out of Vancouver, Canada. Having worked in “The Industry” for a number of years as a Sous-Chef and Wine Director, it has given him the advantage of working to your needs that may be Wine or Food related. His Passion is seeing people enjoying life to the fullest, with his background this can be accomplished.
A Little about Myself…
My first experience with wine that sent me head strong into this field was a bottle of Crozes Hermitage by M. Chapoutier a Syrah. From that point on wine became a major focus of mine, first by joining a Canadian Wine Club to being a co-wine director at a local restaurant. This has given me a great opportunity to have an even closer relationship with this industry, from meeting the sales representative directly; tasting their portfolio, to meeting wine makers from around the world, even on occasion cooking for them personally.
I am classically trained in French Cuisine, a VCC Culinary Arts Program Graduate, and card carrying Red Seal Chef. I have over the years adopted a style that is rooted in my experience as a “West Coaster” with fresh local ingredients. My rustic elements allow me to add a touch of comfort without being pretentious. When cooking, I search for the best local products, focusing on small business, and keeping a good relationshop with them also.
